Basic Computer Organisation

A computer system is a complete computer installation including central processing unit (CPU) , Peripheral devices such as hard disk drives, floppy disk drives, monitor, printer, mouse and operating system, which are designed to work and interact with each other and with the user. A digital computer can be broadly classified as a collection of three components. These are Central Memory Store, Control Unit and Arithmetic Unit.
